How do I find EV chargers near me?

Type your town, city or postcode in the search box, or press Near me to use your location. We list the nearest of 27,622 public charging locations with their speed, connectors and network.

What's the difference between fast and rapid charging?

Fast chargers deliver 8kW to 49kW of AC power and usually take a few hours. Rapid chargers deliver 50kW or more of DC power and can add most of a charge in under an hour. Ultra-rapid chargers are 150kW and up.

How often is the charger map updated?

Every week, from Open Charge Map. Availability changes by the minute, so check the operator's app before you rely on a charger.

How much does public charging cost?

It varies by network and speed: rapid charging usually costs much more per kWh than charging at home. Use the EV charging cost calculator to compare.
